H&F: The Name
H&F unites two houses. Harmonia comes from the Greek harmonía, absorbed into Latin from harmós: a fitting, a joint. Fidens is Latin for confident, worthy of faith. Fidens and fiducia share the root fid-, the same root that appears in fiduciary.
